It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written a blog. These past few weeks in Guatemala have flown by and it’s crazy to think I only have two weeks left before returning to Georgia. Wasn’t it just yesterday I was settling into my tent with 5 strangers in Atlanta Georgia?? Time flies!! Now I call those 5 strangers sisters. Insane.

Guatemala has been so sweet and pure. We are working with an organization called One Way Community which partners with different communities fighting social injustice all around Guatemala. They have a major impact through their education, nutrition, housing, health, recreation, and quality of life programs. My team has primarily taken part in their education programs. Meaning LOTS of kids ministry! We do house visits with students, physical education classes, art classes, and general education classes. While I don’t love little kiddos, my heart has been filled. It’s been precious getting to know all the little faces and creating fun relationships. Here are some pictures from the last two weeks. Some of the faces I have come to love and learned a lot from. The little girl featured in the .5 and selfie is my new bestie! She is an adventurous little girly from a community called “La Paz” which translates to “Peace.” One Way has a small school there with about 10 kiddos that come consistently. Whenever we visit and teach there she and I are joined at the hip.
