Hi friends! It’s been a minute so I thought I would come on here and just share some blessings the Lord has given me as well as things He has been teaching me. Hopefully I can encourage whoever is reading this. Also wanted to share a life update as well!
Big life update, I graduated High School!! It is so crazy to me that I am officially done and all I have to do now is walk across the stage. And then before you know it, I’ll be on the world race! Life is moving so insanely fast, but man I am so incredibly grateful for this last school year in ways I never thought I could be. What was probably one of the hardest years of my life turned out to be the most fruitful and one where I grew so much with the Lord.
Some fundraising updates!
I have been so blessed financially since I first started funding for the world race. In every moment that I’ve felt at such a standstill with funding, the Lord has provided in the most unexpected ways. From friends supporting me to random strangers. I even had a sweet lady, who works with my dad, and her husband donate $5,000 to my funding as well as donate to the other people on my team. I am so incredibly blessed to say that I am almost halfway funded! The Lord is so good and kind.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me. If you’d like to partner with me financially, I will list my venmo and fundraising link below! I also ask that you partner with me in prayer. Here are some specific things you can be praying for!
prayer requests:
–Unity within my team! We have all slowly started to connect a little. I have also connected a lot with one of the girls on my team so we have been talking and getting to know each other which has been amazing.
–The hearts of my team and I. There is so much unknown that we will be walking into six months from now. As much as we are excited, some nerves come with it too. I humbly ask that you pray for our hearts to be softened and that the peace of the Lord will wash over us.
–The hearts of the people we encounter. Like I said before, there is so much unknown we are going to be walking into. The people we encounter are included in that I believe. I ask that you would pray for softened hearts. Something I feel God has been teaching me is that it is our job to plant the seeds, it is His job to grow them. Pray that we would not let the fear of rejection stop us from sharing the word of the Lord.
–Fundraising. The world race gap year is quite the expense. However, I have full faith the Lord will continue to provide. I humbly ask that you pray for advancements in funding as well as pray to see if the Lord is leading you to help partner with me financially. If not, I ask that you pray for softened hearts of other people to help my team and I financially.
Thank you all for everything. I am so expectant and excited of what the Lord is continuing to do! God bless friends.
Love,
