Hello family and friends!

Since returning from my trip to the Himalayas this past March, I have graduated from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) Second Year. Meanwhile, the summer here in Redding has consistently been over 100 degrees! I’ve spent my time working, attending online business classes, enjoying outdoor activities with friends, and continuing to develop my relationship with God. All these things have been preparation for what I now want to announce: this Fall, I am going on the Bethel World Race! This pilot trip is born out of a new partnership between Bethel Church Missions and World Race. I will be going to 7 countries in the 10/40 window over 8 months to minister and advance the Gospel among the unreached. I will share more about locations in the future.

As I have talked about before, I believe that missions to the unreached is a very significant part of my calling in God. This calling has developed through prophetic words, experiences with God, and a personal passion for and enjoyment of mission work. I strongly believe that the World Race opportunity is what God is guiding me to do as a stepping stone from ministry school into long-term mission work. It will also help me to explore what kind of ministry I want to pursue and where I live.

Something that has been incredible on this journey is that more than half my team for the BWR were on my Himalayas teams the past two years. It will be amazing to go on this trip with people who are already close friends with the same heart and mission. It feels very obvious that God has been writing this story all along! In total, there are eighteen members on the team; thirteen BSSM graduates and a family of five who are missionaries with World Race. On August 31st, my team and I will attend a two-week training before leaving for the 10/40 Window.

Here are my current prayer points:

  1. For good health for the entire team.
  2. For everyone to be well rested before we leave.
  3. For unity in the team.
  4. For full financial provision for the team.
  5. For wisdom as we plan.
  6. For God to prepare the hearts of those we minister to.
  7. For more and more devotion to Jesus.

In total this trip will cost $19,500. This will cover all transportation, food, visas, and housing. My first deadline is August 9, which is 30% ($5,850). This summer I have saved $5,000 from working that I am putting towards this trip. Additionally, Bethel Missions is committing to give a grant of $4,000 once I reach my second deadline on August 31, 40% ($7,800). This means that I am nearly halfway funded already! Giving through THIS LINK or the “Support” button at the top right of the screen is tax-deductible.

I sincerely thank you all for being a part of my journey, always encouraging, praying, sowing, and playing a part in the Great Commission. I pray for God to bless you all, surround you with His presence, and fill you with His joy! In Jesus’ name.
