What are you doing now that the race is over?

What’s next?

You thought you got rid of me. I am back. And have an answer to these questions above.

I am currently in Knoxville doing manual labor for my grandfather. I have also started a Bible study with a bunch of guys from Paideia and elsewhere. Please pray for this time every Thursday at 7:30. Pray that there is a rich, fruitful conversation and that Jesus reveals himself to all of us individually in new ways. Pray that the Lord will use each of these men to further his kingdom in ways they can’t imagine and that the lord sets their hearts on fire for him. Pray for me as well. Honestly, being home has been really hard and lonely. And I know God is working here, and there are good things. But sometimes, I like to focus on the negatives, which isn’t healthy.

What’s next?

This question has plagued my existence for years. As a noncommital teenager, it is my worst fear. The future is terrifying. I do have a plan, and ultimately, my plan is to try and follow the Lord’s will as best I can. And for now, I believe he is calling me back to Gainesville, Georgia. Adventures in Missions’ main base is in Gainesville, and I am going back there to do a discipleship program called Center for Global Action (CGA). CGA is a 5-month leadership and discipleship program designed to equip people to know themselves, lead themselves, and lead others. They exist to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith, whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas.

So why should I do this? Great question, dear reader. I have no idea what I want my life to look like. But I do know that I want to live radically for the Lord. I want to learn how to disciple others better and how to live out the great commission better. Leading this bible study has shown me I have a passion for leading others in truth. But it has also highlighted areas where I don’t really know what I am doing. My goal in doing this is to equip myself with the tools to live out Mathew 28 most effectively. No matter what job I end up having or where I end up, the great commission will be the most important thing in my life. And learning to live that out more effectively seems incredibly beneficial.

I am currently fundraising for this opportunity. The tuition for the program will cost $5,950. I am asking people to prayerfully consider giving to me. Please ask God first and see what he says. If he says yes, here is my fundraising link.

Thank you all for absolutely everything. I say that a lot, but I really mean it. Your continuing support staggers me on a daily basis. And this is chapter 2. I am excited to continue writing blogs and updating you on what God is doing in and around me.

Love you all,
