MINISTRY
1. Our ministry partner is called Hope and Worship Room. Our host/founder Jeofrey is an amazing man of God who I look up to and we are surrounded by an amazing team of spirit filled Missionaries!
2. Hope is a gospel centered youth program that focuses on raising up youth in the gospel. It is located in a beautiful gated garden. The staff missionaries here are DEVOTED to Jesus and raising up these children in Christ. They are so intentional with discipleship and feeding them the word of God and prayer like i’ve never seen before. We get to build relationships with the staff, youth, and teens here. as well as teach english, partake in devotionals, prayers, and preaching the gospel to them with our testimonies. This ministry is so filled with the heart of God and I love it. I have built some amazing relationships with the teenagers, staff members, and of course the lovely children! Hope not only provides spiritual care, they provide physical care such as meals and games for the youth here.

3. Worship Room  focuses on bringing a lifestyle of prayer and worship to the local church of Guatemala (and the world) with prayer rooms (all day intercessions focused on God’s word Ex. Isaiah 61), house of prayer/public reading (houses that meet to pray/worship/and read God’s word), and worship room (communal night of worship and intercession based on God’s word). This ministry has given me so many gifts and filled me with God’s love. The men here have taken me under their wing, brought me into their homes for meals, teach and disciple me so well, impart spiritual gifts to me, and lead me in a worshipful and prayerful life. We get to help with intercession and prayer at these events to build up the body and it is so powerful. I love this ministry so so much!

• Hope and Worship Room are one ministry, with two functions, that do life together, and ministry together. This church lives like the book of acts! Acts 2:42-47

TEAM
My squad has a total of 13 members, 7 of which are on my team. My team is based in San Antonio Auguas Calientes and is near Antigua, Guatemala. Each person on my team has a specific role for managing the health and functionality of our team as we follow and serve the Lord. The roles are: squad leader, team leader, logistics, treasurer, hospitality, worship coordinator, and storyteller.

My role is: TREASURER

matthew 25:14-30. luke 16:10. luke 12:42-48

As treasurer, I track the budget for my team of 6 people (not including our squad leader). This budget covers our daily amount of $ for food, lodging, and travel for my entire team. I distribute to our hosts according to what we pay for lodging and meals and give the rest to my team. I make sure we are on track for our supplies budget and that we as a team hold our budget well and don’t overspend. It is so critical as a team that we stay on track with our finances which God has given us through you our supporters and that we walk in meekness and faithfulness by stewarding well His gifts.

The Lord has asked me time and time again to be a faithful steward and budget my own life well, which I have failed at. Now, He has given me the opportunity to not only manage myself, but an entire team. Thank you Jesus for giving me the gift of repentance in this area of my life.

The dynamic my team has is amazing. We out serve one another, we fellowship well, we focus on prayer and God’s word together, we challenge each other, we encourage one another, and love each other well and those around us as Jesus has commanded us. I love my team! We have grown so much already together and its only been 4 weeks on the field!

COMMUNITY
• We currently live in San Antonio, Guatemala which is where Hope is located. But we also do ministry in Antigua, Guatemala where Worship Room is located. We travel back and forth between these towns often and do lots of ministry and life with the people here!
• We live with a host family who are so amazing to us! They have provided us with an amazing place to sleep/live and help with majority of our meals. Our host parents love Jesus and love us so well, they are incredible servants of God and so funny! I am so grateful to be cared for by this family!
• Daily we get to follow Jesus as a team and are in constant community and I love it, it is challenging, sharpening, edifying, fruitful, refreshing, and so intimate! Our ministries here have taken us under the wing and into their family and treat us so well. They invite us into their lives and serve us so well as we walk with them to serve their ministries God has started here.

(I don’t have many pictures of my entire team, ministry staff, or host family but I hope to soon!!)
