Ha sido toda una aventura este último mes, un mes lleno de cambios y de cosas nuevas con el Señor, lleno de momentos en los que he tenido que depender completamente de Dios por los cambios y desafíos grandes por delante, pero en todo tiempo he visto la fidelidad, bondad y dulce amor del Señor conmigo.
Las últimas semanas han estado llenas de bastante actividad ya que he estado en entrenamiento y preparándome para mi tiempo de servicio en el Medio Oriente, y me alegra mucho anunciar que el primer país que estaremos visitando será Kirguistán. Sin duda el Señor tiene preparadas cosas buenas y hermosas para las personas en Kirguistán, y que privilegio y honor el que podamos ser parte de su buena obra en esta nación, ya sea yendo, orando, o con nuestros recursos. ¡Que honor y privilegio sin duda!
Han habido algunas cosas inesperadas estos últimos días en relación a los preparativos de mi viaje, pero el Señor me ha estado mostrando la importancia de elegir confiar en Él en toda circunstancia, pues en todo tiempo Él está aquí conmigo y Sus planes de bien no cambian. Él me ha estado enseñando como Él se mueve a través de circunstancias inesperadas, lugares inesperados, o personas inesperadas.
Nuestro Dios es fiel, constante y digno de confianza en todo tiempo, pero eso no significa que se mueve siempre en las maneras que esperamos, pues muchas veces se mueve en maneras impredecibles, y eso lo vemos en varias historias a través de la biblia, inclusive en la venida del Mesías al mundo vemos a nuestro Dios moviéndose de manera inesperada. Primero por medio de un censo inesperado María y José se mueven a Belén para que se cumpla la profecía del nacimiento del Mesías en Belén. Después vemos que Jesús nace en un pesebre, un lugar totalmente inesperado donde sin duda nadie esperaría encontrar al Mesías prometido. Y después vemos como la noticia del nacimiento del Salvador es dada a un grupo de pastores, no a los expertos o maestros de la ley, o lideres religiosos, sino a un grupo de pastores, cuan inesperado sin duda.
Cuan importante es reconocer que en momentos nuestro Dios se moverá en nuestras vidas en circunstancias, lugares o personas inesperadas, es así que cuando atravesemos por circunstancias inesperadas sigamos confiando en Él, y pidamos un corazón sensible a su voz y mover en esos momentos, porque Él se estará moviendo sin duda.
Finalmente, ¡gracias una vez más por ser parte de esta aventura de fe conmigo, y por ser parte del mover grande y hermoso de nuestro Dios alrededor del mundo! 🙂

It has been quite an adventure this last month! A month full of changes and new things with the Lord! Full of moments in which I have had to depend completely on God in the big changes and challenges ahead, but at all times I have seen the faithfulness, goodness and sweet love of the Lord with me.
The last few weeks have been quite busy as I have been training and preparing for my time of service in the Middle East, and I am very happy to announce that the first country we will be visiting will be Kyrgyzstan. Without a doubt the Lord has good and beautiful things in store for the people in Kyrgyzstan and what a privilege and honor that we can be part of His good work in this nation whether by going, praying, or with our resources. What an honor and privilege without a doubt!
There have been some unexpected things these last few days in regards to the preparations for my trip, but the Lord has been showing me the importance of choosing to trust Him in all circumstances, at all times He is here with me and His good plans always are on the move and prevail. He has been teaching me how He moves through unexpected circumstances, unexpected places, or unexpected people.
Our God is faithful, constant and trustworthy at all times, but that does not mean that He always moves in the ways we expect because many times He just moves in unpredictable ways and we have seen that in many stories throughout the Bible. Even in the coming of the Messiah to the world we see our God moving in unexpected ways. First, through an unexpected census Mary and Joseph move to Bethlehem fulfilling the prophecy that the Messiah would born in Bethlehem. Then we see that He is born in a manger, a totally unexpected place where without a doubt no one would expect to find the promised Messiah. And then we see how the news of the birth of our Savior is given to a group of shepherds, not to the experts or teachers of the law, or religious leaders, but to a group of shepherds, how unexpected without a doubt.
How important it is to recognize that sometimes our God will move in our lives in unexpected circumstances, places or people, so when we go through unexpected circumstances we can choose to continue trusting Him and ask for a sensitive heart to His voice and move in those moments because He will be there moving without a doubt.
Lastly, thank you once again for being part of this faith adventure with me, and for being part of the great and beautiful move of our God around the world! 🙂
