What a week! SharpTop Cove will not be forgotten. So many laughs, smiles, great people and hard working days. The Lord had His way this week, and it was such a blessing. He never stops working and His love never runs out; it doesn’t make sense to me, but it is such a blessing!
Yes, it’s blog time again. I pray you enjoy this read just at least a little bit. Let’s get to it.
Manual labor was the name of the game this week, and for those of you who don’t know, I really do enjoy this type of work. Tell me to dig, tell me to build, tell me to trim; whatever it is, I will more than likely be doing it with a smile on my face. There’s just something about it that brings an odd amount of happiness to me. So as one might do, I took in every moment of it with happiness and delighting in this gift that The Lord has given me. Our work varied this week, but it consisted of all of these great things: weeding, mulching, stone placing, ditch digging, landscaping, HVAC maintenance, campus clean up, tree and limb removal, cabin restoration and kitchen prep! So much fun, here’s proof for you that I was hard at work.
This was also one of the prettiest campuses that I have ever been to, let alone stayed on. Situated in the middle of the mountains of Georgia, it’s hard not to see Jesus every day here. I mean just look at this.
Not pictured, but also on the campus, was a pool, lake, rope swing, basketball and pickleball court, game room, multiple lounges, and an 18 hole disc golf course. God has blessed us tremendously by allowing us to do ministry here this week! So much fun all around. To add, I experienced my first hurricane in the mountains which definitely changed the dynamic of things while we were there, but God kept us safe and provided for at all times.
Well… I think this blog is going to be shorter than the others, because most of my time this week can be summed up in a smile, and nothing that I can really write about. Long, fun workdays can only be talked about but so much, and I also want to keep you entertained with this read, not bored. The joy of The Lord and His abundant life is what this week was about. Quality time bonding with the squad and just doing life with Jesus. Nonetheless, we aren’t going to skip the various, random picture section of the blog. I can’t not include that. Here it is!
Prepping for the day.
A little bit of worship.
I have no words for this one…
Messing around and such.
And again…
Ok I honestly have no clue what is going on here, but I’m smiling so it must be a fun time.
It is crazy what can be found while cleaning out a cabin.
Super cool game room that we got to hang out in.
No parking.
And more signs.
And again we have reached the end of the blog. I pray you have enjoyed reading about the good work The Lord is doing for and with His children. Until next blog, I’ll be doing life with Jesus in whatever way that might look like in His eyes. Truly, thank you to all of you read my blogs; it brings me a ton of joy to know you guys are reading! Feel free to comment or message me any thoughts. Dear Father, I pray you bless the person reading this. I pray you shine your face upon them, reveal unto them more of your character day by day. Bless them with your peace and love. Show them your salvation and steadfastness. Ease their mind and give them relaxation. Allow them to know the power of the blood of Jesus. I pray you draw nearer to them and show them The True Father’s love. Amen!
Bye guys!
