Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this post finds you well. As May approaches, so does my high school graduation. The question that I am asked almost daily is, “What are your plans for next year?”
Initially, I was set on the traditional college path, although uncertain about my major. However, my thoughts shifted when my brother did a gap year this last year. He has had such a great, life-changing experience. I knew that I loved the organization he was with after attending a summer camp there, but somehow it didn’t feel like the right fit for me.
In January, something really cool happened… An incredible organization called Adventures in Missions came to my attention. They have a gap year called the World Race. After applying, getting accepted and much prayer, I accepted the opportunity to be a part of this adventure!

What is the World Race?
The World Race Gap Year is a transformative 9-month Christian program designed for recent high school graduates like me. It’s an opportunity to serve others, immerse myself in Christian community, and deepen my identity and faith. Throughout the journey, I’ll have the privilege to work alongside seasoned leaders who are not only sharing the hope of Jesus but also meeting the tangible needs of communities every day.

What does this entail?
I’ll be embarking on a journey to four different countries, spending two months living and serving in each. These countries include Romania, Cambodia, Thailand, and Guatemala. My journey begins in late August with training in Georgia, after which we’ll set off to our assigned countries. Let me assure you, this won’t be a leisurely vacation!

Each country will offer a unique experience, where I’ll collaborate with local churches to support their ministries, spread the Gospel, and empower local communities. From ministering to survivors of sex trafficking to engaging in kids and youth ministry, each day will be filled with building relationships and uplifting those on the ground.

As I prepare for this life-changing experience, part of the process involves raising the necessary funds for support.
Would you consider joining me in this mission by offering your support? I’m aiming to raise $17,500, which covers all practical expenses of my World Race journey, including meals, lodging, travel, medical insurance, and ministry costs.
To stay updated on my journey, I’ll be maintaining a blog where I’ll share insights, reflections, and prayer requests with all my supporters.
The simplest way to contribute is by clicking on the give link here donating online. Rest assured, all donations are tax deductible. Alternatively, if you prefer to send a check, please address it to:
