(⬆️today was so special! my squad mate and friend, Sam, decided to get rebaptized in the ocean and she wanted our whole squad to be part of it).

Wow, I can’t believe our final week in Nicaragua is done.. this final week was so relaxing and intentional: we welcomed another squad and a church group, put on a VBS, did a lot of all-squad ministry, prayer walks, our final micro-church, worship nights, group devos, and dump ministry.

Something that I have loved this week is my quiet time (5-7am). I feel like Jesus has been speaking to me so intentionally and beautifully. Not only through His word, but also through people. I’m so excited to see His plans unfold and how he grows me the rest of my time in Central America.

Tomorrow we head to Guatemala and it is going to be a big change, but the Lord has prepared mine and the squad’s heart so beautifully. The squad is being split into two teams and we are going to be doing ministry separately the whole time we are in Guatemala (and we are going to be hours apart…). It is going to be hard at first, but I know God has such good plans and He is so intentional in all His ways.

Thanks for tuning-in to this week’s blog. Stay tuned for the Guatemala blogs starting next week!

prayer requests:

  • peace over Guatemala team change!
  • intentionality with the team these next few days
  • Good health!

(⬆️ this is how we get around most of the time here.. we see how many people we can cram into the back of a pickup).
