Week three in Eswatini has been so fulfilling and precious memories were made🫶🏻

As a photographer there is nothing I love more than getting to get photos of the places I go. One of the things I have enjoyed most is taking pictures of my team as they engage with those around them in ministry. Getting to see the kids faces light up when they see us or laughing endlessly because they are playing with someone. The joy the kids have is inspiring and evident everyday. Even in their situations and struggle they always bring a smile.
The most joyful girl I’ve met yet. Almost always has a smile on her face and was constantly by my side this week. She doesn’t fully understand English and only knows a few words but we communicate through smiles and when she comes and sits with me. It’s crazy the bond you can form with a child that you don’t have barely any conversations with. She has inspired me the most to have JOY in any circumstance or situation. The love she gives at such a young age is the kind of love I hope to give others🤍
We had a Christmas Party at our care point this week. We joined all of the cooks and prepared a meal for over 200 kids from the community. Starting at 10am we didn’t serve the kids until 3:30pm and everything was made over the fire! This was such a fulfilling day and such a great way to get to know the cooks. I was amazed at just the act of creating something special for the kids that they don’t get very often. There were so many kids and so many little hands to hold. I loved getting to spend this day with them and experience this with them!
These kids will always have a piece of my heart & God has shown me His goodness and love through these kiddos everyday. As we head into our last week of ministry I want to fully take in everything I can and can’t wait to experience God even more!🫶🏻
