Salutations from Kenya

Jambo! Mambo! Habari!

(Hello, what’s up! How are you?)

Hello everyone! It’s Hunter reporting from Bungoma, Kenya! We just arrived here a couple of days after staying in Mombasa, Kenya for about 6 days.

While we were in the Mombasa area, we stayed with our awesome hosts, Megan and Eric. Cool fact: Megan actually went on the World Race before and now she’s a host for World Race teams now.

While staying with Megan and Eric, we got to learn more about Kenya, a little bit about Islam and some different things relating to the spiritual side of the World Race. It’s been such an enlightening experience!

Sadly, after the 6 days, we had to part from our whole squad and split off into our teams. Our team was the first to go, in which we took a 17-hour bus ride to arrive in Bungoma, Kenya.

We arrived here a couple of days ago and we have been getting acclimated to the city of Bungoma. This has included trying out some of the local foods and checking out shops as well as getting to go with our ministry partner (New Life Celebration Center). It’s been such a blessing and so grateful for the experience thus far.

Thank You’s

Thank you again Megan and Eric for opening your home to us and allowing us to stay with you guys as you taught us more about Kenya as well as some spiritual truths. We appreciate you.

Thank you also to those who have continued to support me financially. We are currently at 87% funded. I appreciate you all and will continue to keep you updated! 🤗
