Hello, Sweet family and friends! It’s been a minute since I gave an update. But here is a quick little overview of January and all that it held!

What the Lords have been teaching me:

So, for the last many months, I have been so exhausted. Toward the end of last year, I felt an urgency to slow down and press into the Lord; however, I didn’t know how to. Instead of taking this to the Lord, I got overwhelmed and chose to push through this tiredness. This only made me feel like I was living my life but not being present. I would be getting the word but not engaging with Jesus. And if I am not communing and engaging with Jesus, then what is the point? I finally started to surrender this feeling of uncertainty and burnout. Now the Lord has faithfully showing me what it looks like to rest. This looks different every day, but generally it looks like slowing down and making time and space to hear from the father. I am not great at resting or saying no to plans, but I’m learning. And as I am learning, the Lord is patiently teaching and walking with me through it all. He is faithful in meeting us even in the tiered place of exhaustion when we feel like we can’t go on. Jesus, in His love, walks in, embraces us, and smiles, inviting us into His rest. He’s an easy yoke and his light burden. I could go on and on, but I am thankful for how Jesus shows up and how I love His patient, Heart; He is so good.

Matthew 11: 25 – 30

25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for you were pleased to do this.

27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Fundraising Update:

January has been a month of the Lord’s Provision! In just one month the Lord brought in 16% of funds!! I struggled a lot at the end of last year, wondering how the Lord would do it. I mean such a lack of faith, and now, a month later, I look back and am in awe! I only need to be 40% funded to leave in August, and I am already at 36%; I mean, HALLELUJAH! The Lord is good! I am believing by the end of march I will be 50% funded! I am still amazed at what the Lord has done in the last month, and I know He is going to continue to move! Thank you so much to everyone who has given; I see each donation and get excited every time one comes through. I am thankful for the donation and your willingness to give to the Lord and trust him with your finances. Through y’all’s prayers and donations, we are taking the gospel to the nations together, and wow, is it beautiful!! Thank you, Jesus!

Prayer Requests: I would love continued prayer over my team and funds. More than this, pray for a deeper love and reverence of Jesus than ever before; I want to love Him more tomorrow than I do now.
