This week has been so refreshing. God continues to show up for me in ways that I’ve never experienced. We had a day of prayer activation that was so powerful. It was so amazing to be able to pour everything out to God and worship Him. Our revival night was also soooo amazing this week. It was so refreshing to be able to worship God and be so filled with joy in his presence. We had a really amazing time with all the girls this week. It was so cool to be able to bond with the other girls from other squads and pray over them.
We leave for domestic missions on Monday morning. Our squad will have a week of helping out a small college in North Carolina, participating and serving in different ministries. I am so excited for this opportunity to live out and practice what we have been learning. Please pray that our squad will be filled with the Holy Spirit and on fire for God, willing to give up ourselves and pour into others.
One amazing thing this week was a hike our squad did to the top of Mt Yonah. We left at around 3:00 in the afternoon on Thursday afternoon. It was a 2 mile hike to the top, but it was so steep and we all had our big backpacks on. It took us about 2.5 hours to get to the top and I was drenched with sweat. We all camped at the top overnight with a fire and hot dogs. There was also an amazing lookout at the top and the sunset was so beautiful. The next morning we packed our stuff up at 5 and made the hike down in the dark. We got Chick-fil-A for breakfast which was delicious and then we went back to camp for the day.
Prayer Requests
Please pray for my squad that God will comfort us in this time away from home. A lot of the squad is feeling extremely homesick. Also, pray for boldness as we leave for domestic missions this week. In addition, pray that the people that aren’t fully funded will receive the funds that they need. Thank you so much for your support!
