I started the countdown at 284 days (I’m pretty sure, something like that!) and now the countdown is less than 48 hours! It is unreal how everything is coming together. How the time I’ve been excited for is so close!
As it gets closer and closer I am feeling very ready! Not necessarily physically ready as my basement is still chaotic and my bag isn’t fully packed, but ready to go. Ready to take this leap of faith, knowing full well that God is ready to catch me and take me to great places!
I am dreading saying goodbye to my family and friends, many of them I’ve already had to say goodbye to. It’s hard, but knowing that soon I will be saying hello to so many new people, including my K squad family, brings me so much joy!
Thank you to everyone reading and supporting me with prayers and donations! Your encouragement means the world to me! I am currently 89% fundraised with just less than $2000 USD to go! God is good and He has been providing in so many amazing and unexpected ways! I am well on my way to be fully funded by next February, which is the deadline to be 100% raised. So thank you to everyone who has made this possible!
My hope for this blog is to update it weekly with stories of what I am up to on the World Race. However, things may come up that prevent me from posting a new blog each week, so please be patient with me and I will do my very best to share all God is doing!
Please continue to pray for me and my team as we prepare and as we train together over this coming month. Pray that we will come together as a team to serve the Lord in everything we may be doing.
