Dear Friends and Family,

I hope you are doing well today! Welcome to my blog! You are probably reading this because you have supported me in my life in more ways than one and I want to share an exciting new chapter of my life that God has opened for me to embark on. In the past few months, I have been attending community college for Business Project Management, growing my photography business, working out, and working at the Country Club of Virginia as a server. However, in April I had a self-reflection moment with God and asked Him what His plan was for me and my life. Something I have wanted to do ever since I was a little girl was to go on a mission trip to Africa. I am so excited and thankful to announce that I am going on a mission trip to South Africa and Eswatini for three months this fall!!!

I am going on this trip to challenge myself and my faith, discover more of God’s creation, and most importantly be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people in Africa. The organization I am going with is called World Race. Their mission is, “To awaken the church to radically follow Jesus and advance his kingdom.” The World Race exists to mobilize a generation of radical Christ followers, discipling and training them to establish the Kingdom of God. While on the field, I will have many ministry opportunities ranging from Evangelizing to Teaching English to Children’s Camp (VBS). Most importantly get the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and share the good news of Christ with whoever will listen. Matthew 28:19-20 tells us, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

I would like to ask for your support first and foremost in prayer. Please pray that I will sacrifice my selfish needs and put the needs of others above me, leading up to this trip and on this trip. Additionally, to go on this trip I need to fundraise. I have full confidence that wherever the Lord calls us He will provide for us. I need to raise $6,295 by August 31st. If you are interested in helping me financially, then you can click on the support button and donate straight to my fundraising account. Please do not feel pressured to donate a certain amount or anything at all. Remember I ask first for your prayers. However, if you are able to donate anything please know that your money is tax-deductible, and it is going straight to help with my travel, housing, training, and safety on this trip. Most importantly, it is going to the advancement of God’s kingdom. The verse that I would like to share with you all is 1 Corinthians 9:18 “What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.”

Thank you for reading this very long message. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. In addition, you may share this blog with anyone you think would be interested. They can contact me using the contact button on this link. To add to that, if you would like to follow along my journey leading up to Africa and while I am in Africa, you can subscribe to this blog.

Thank you for being my friend and supporting me as I embark on this amazing journey with Jesus! Please know that I truly could not do it without you!

Isaiah 6:8-10 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” And he said, “Go, and say to this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”
