We made it to Thailand!! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged so here is a little recap of everything going on. The last three weeks our ministry days in Cambodia started off with teaching English and then Soccer practice, we even had some soccer games (we won one!) Then last week we said goodbye to the YDC and our ministry in Cambodia and hopped on a 7 hour van ride to Siem Reap. Where we reunited with the other team from our squad for a few adventure days. We got to see the Sunrise at Angkor Wat, go to the night markets (where we got to let fish eat our feet), and also went to many coffee shops! After a few days in Siem Reap, we then got on a 4 hour bus ride to the Thailand border, crossed the border then it was time to say goodbye to the other teams. Having to split from a team we spent the last month with was hard but I know for certain the Lord has so many amazing plans for our teams that I can’t wait to hear all about when we are back together. After a few tears from saying goodbye, my team headed to Bangkok and spent the night in the Bangkok bus station, then hopped on a bus for 10 hours to Chang Mei, then rode in the back of a pick up truck for 1.5 hours then finally we arrived in Chiang Doa, the location of our host home! Currently missing Cambodia and our ministry however, I am excited to see all that the Lord has in store for my team in Chiang Doa!

Here are some pics from the last few weeks:

Here are a few things to keep in prayer for:

  • That the Lord would continue to work in Cambodia and provide for YDC
  • For our upcoming ministry in Thailand
  • For perseverance to fully accomplish all that the Lord has planned for us. That we would rely on the strength of our Father.
