Hey everyone!!
It has been a crazy few days as our team is setting into life in Brazil! We have been so blessed by Andy (our ministry host) and all he has shared with us in this training/ transitional period of our time here! We have been doing specific culture trainings, learning about the different religions in the area, and even starting planning our children’s ministry that we will start up on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Our team was also able to take a beautiful hike to one of the beautiful beaches in the area with a family from the church who is wanting to get to know us and be involved with our ministry!
Today our team will be going out and evangelizing to a local college campus with YWAM(Youth With a Mission) and then joining there connect groups this evening! We are very excited for this partnership and can’t wait to see how the Lord uses all of us to bring people into his kingdom. This will be a recurring event every Wednesday for our squad!
Be praying against the attacks of the enemy on our team. We are in a very dark place spiritually where many of the citizens are involved in which craft and summoning of spirits. Many of us are experiencing spiritual warfare, so pray we continue to fight it putting the armor of God on us each us day!
Be praying for the people we meet in the next coming days that their hearts will be softened to the gospel and ready to hear the good news, and that the lord will continue to highlight those people to us! Pray we step out in boldness and will not shy away from sharing the love and truth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ!
