Yesterday was the last official day of training camp! We have a couple of days to rest and recoup and then we are off to domestic missions in North Carolina. I think we are all excited for a change of scenery even though Georgia has been a delight.
K Squad took a hike up Mt. Yonah to spend the night. The view was spectacular. We watched the sunset and roasted hotdogs over the campfire. A bear was spotted, but I didn’t get to see it. Although Anna and I were spooked by something tromping through the bushes while we were trying to brush our teeth. I saw its eyes reflect in my headlamp and we were out of there real fast. Who knows, could have been a bear, could have been a raccoon.
In the morning we started our hike down at 5:30 while it was still dark so that we could get back before the day started at camp. To top the week off we were blessed with a beautiful double rainbow. God never ceases to amaze me, His creation is unimaginably complex and creative and we get to see it right in front of us every day.
Love,
Rosella
