Iā€™ve been here in Nicaragua for about 2 weeks now. It is really beautiful here and it is very humbling. The people here live in little shacks and are still so happy. God has taught me so much while Iā€™ve been here and I continue to get more connected with Him. For ministry each day we are doing prayer walks where we just stop and pray with people. Itā€™s harder for me to communicate with them because I donā€™t know a whole lot of Spanish but Iā€™m learning. And Dump ministry is where we go to the dump and see what we can do to help people there. Itā€™s hard to see what they go through there. They dig through all the trash to find food or stuff to sell. We also do hospital visits and thatā€™s a far cry from the hospital back home. Itā€™s pretty hard to see because they donā€™t have like any technology there. But itā€™s cool to pray for all of them there. We are about to start a 3 day fast . During those days we wonā€™t be doing any ministry work at all so that we can have the whole day to be with the Lord. The food has been really good so far here on base. Overall, I canā€™t complain. The views here are crazy cool. Beautiful mountains and I am constantly aware that God made all of this.
