Woah, these last few weeks have been something. First things first I’m in South Africa!!!! Whew whew Praise the Lamb!! We just finished our first week of ministry here in Jeffreys Bay, and have been having a time here! Since the last blog I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand doing ministry and then also had debrief in Bangkok, Thailand. Since debrief the LORD has been working in my heart and pulling me into a place of learning and healing, which is hard but sooo sweet. Since being here in J-Bay the LORD has provided more time to really have intimate conversations with him and has been drawing me to the ocean where I can sit and feel his presence. An example is this past Tuesday my team was doing ATL(ask the Lord) and I got a picture of the ocean. I was with my teammate Jasmine and she told me that she felt the Lord telling us to sit on these rocks and look out at the water and just talk to him. I hadn’t really realize that I had been running from talking to God, but I have a lot on my heart and in my mind that it felt easier to run then to talk about it even to God. But as soon as I was on the rocks facing God, I immediately felt him. Looking at the waves the thought came to me that I was so scared to go to God because I was scared of what he would say, but like the waves that he created God is powerful and mighty but he is also so gentle. Not all the waves are big and mighty, but some are calm and gentle. The LORD knows what you need and if you go to him he will meet you how you need to be met. Since having this beautiful interaction with God I’ve been a lot more filled, I’m still in growing period, but I’m not scared about how God is going to change me. These next two months in Africa are going to be a growing season, but the LORD has prepared me and I’m so ready to look more like him, to then be able to pour into others.

Side note!! Prayer Request!! My team got to go on a prayer walk with Global Challenge people and has the opportunity to pray for two people! If y’all could pray for this baby Lea, and a man named John!! Also if you could pray for my squad as we are all squad for the first time, it’s such a sweet time, but just that we continue doing the Lords work!!! Also for the community that we live in, and just safety!! Thank you!!

We are officially half way through the race! I’m still fundraising and I would love to be continue this journey that the Lord has me on, but I need your help!!! Praise the Lord for all that’s he done and provided!!!
