One week.
This Friday was different
I woke up this morning with a little sadness knowing next Friday I’ll be going to Gainesville Georgia with my parents, but I didn’t allow the sadness to take over my day.
If anyone knows there’s this revival that’s been going on for two weeks now near Lawrenceburg. Well, one night me and Sydney decided to go to McDonald’s and there was this big group of teenagers leaving and told us we needed to go to Revival tomorrow night. We told them we had come that night, but we will be there the next day. Long story short in a McDonald’s at 11 clock we made some new friends over a big blue tent revival that’s happening in Tennessee.
A couple of nights later we all decided to go to McDonald’s and they told us we should go eat breakfast with them the next day before the morning revival (we did :)). Keep in mind they’re still in high school and it was a Friday. This Friday was the first football game of the season, but instead, they wanted to skip out on school go to the morning revival, and after going into town head out flyers for the revival and go to the night revival instead of the football game. How awesome are those guys? Would you guys do that? Go somewhere to learn more about God’s word or go to a football game. They sacrificed and gave up to hear God’s word.
Well, later that day me and Sydney met up with Emma and Brody at Texas Roadhouse to eat with them before I left the next Friday. It was so good seeing them and catching up with them. I love them so much.
After that, me and Sydney went back to my house and spent time with my mom before getting ready for the revival and just loved talking to my mama.
We headed up to the revival and GOD WAS MOVING AND IS STILL MOVING. The Holy Spirit was all over tonight.
As I’m heading to bed I thought about today of all the sweet memories we made today. New friendships, laughter, memories, and hearing God’s word. No better way that my last Friday could have gone
7 more days guys. Thank you, Jesus.
