Hello to all! It is good to write to everyone again about my trip. We are coming up on the last three weeks or so now and we’re finishing strong! Last week we did construction work! I was excited because that’s what most of my ministry has been in my past mission trips. We were at the school on the campus we live on and helping them build a tech center for them! Our job for the week was to grind out the rust spots on the walls and ceiling of the metal containers used for the building, put up rust converter, and put a coat of primer over all of it! Look for the picture of Kendall jumping to prime the top of the wall, I thought it was quite funny. We ended up getting pretty close to being finished, but that is okay that we didn’t completely finish because we did a lot of the work and it was much appreciated by them! After construction we were volunteers at a youth camp that they do every year across South Africa called #imagine. It was really cool! I signed up for the media team and was entrusted with a nice camera and stabilizer for taking videos and photos from the weekend! It was a very full week, but it was amazing nonetheless! The boys also pulled quite the April fools prank on the girls. All the guys remembered it was, but the girls did not remember at all which made it great. We hid all of the pots and pans along with the toaster, silverware, cereal, and peanut butter from them so they didn’t have any of it to work with to make breakfast. All the guys thought it was great, and then the girls hid our shoes for ministry, so Wesley and I put on their shoes haha. We did end up getting our shoes back to go to ministry, however. This week we are back at the orphanage and working with the kids again! Stay tuned for more, and enjoy the pictures!
