Hey all!!

As I prepare to go on my journey to Uganda in January, my heart is filled with excitement as well as a deep desire to remain on fire for Jesus throughout the entire process. I want my focus to be only on the One who has called me to this mission.

Fundraising this amount of money feels very stressful and is giving me a lot of anxiety, but I am reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 21:21, where He says, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” This verse helps me to push aside doubts and trust that God will move mountains in ways I cannot see yet.

I’m also holding onto the promise found in Philippians 4:19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” As i continue to fundraise for this trip, i have to be reminded of time and time again that He has provided for me and my other trips.

i don’t want this next 150 days to be only about money and the fundraising, i want it to be about deepening my reliance on God, allowing my faith to grow stronger, and staying passionate about the work He has set before me. I want to be committed to staying on fire for Jesus, knowing that He is with me every step of the way, guiding me, and providing for me.

I would love any prayers anyone has to pray over my heart, mind, and this upcoming trip. As well as any fundraising help that anyone feels called to do. Thank you to everyone who read this far! I can’t wait to keep updating my journey here!
