Hey friends!
I’m Parker Fulk—18 years old and just graduated here in Ponte Vedra, Florida. I’m one of seven kids, so life at home is always busy (and never boring). Finishing high school feels kind of surreal—it’s the end of a huge chapter, but also the start of something really exciting. I’ve been thinking and praying a lot about what’s next, and I’m ready to take a big step forward.
This August, I’m stepping into something completely new and a little scary—but also exciting and full of purpose. On August 29th, I’ll be launching into a nine-month mission trip through The World Race. I’ll be traveling to Colombia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and South Africa—living alongside locals, serving communities, and sharing the hope of the gospel.
The cost of the trip is $19,500. That covers everything from international flights to food, housing, health insurance, and mission training. It’s a big number, but I believe this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will stretch and grow me spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
So why am I doing this?
Honestly—because I want to follow where God is leading me. I know this experience will pull me far out of my comfort zone and into deeper trust in Him. I want to get better at sharing my faith, whether it’s through conversations on the streets or worshiping beside people from completely different backgrounds. I’m also looking forward to growing with a team of other young believers—people who’ll become like family as we serve, pray, and grow together.
Of course, I can’t do this alone. I’m working hard to raise the funds through jobs like yard work, babysitting, car washing, pet sitting—you name it! And I’d be so grateful for your help. Whether you’d like to hire me for a job, make a donation, share this with others, or simply keep me in your prayers—it all means the world.
Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing updates on my progress and stories from each country I visit. I can’t wait to bring you along for the journey.
Thanks so much for reading and for being a part of this next chapter in my life.
With gratitude,
Parker
