Hey guys I know it’s been a while since I have posted the blog, but here’s a little update of what’s happened over the past three months.

As you guys know, I went to Nepal and another country in South Asia. Since I was in these countries, I had to unplug myself from social media and posting blogs about ministry related activities. Now that I’m out of those countries, I am able to share stories and testimonies of what the Lord has done.

First, I will start with the south Asia country that I’ve visited. In this country, the gospel is very closed off and we were hearing stories of people being put in jail while we were there for sharing the gospel. This made our time difficult at first, but as we began to understand culture, we were able to step out in boldness to proclaim the gospel. While being in South Asia, the weather got very cold, which was not expected. We were told it would be cold, but we didn’t realize that it would be freezing or below freezing every day. As we got adjusted to our living arrangements, we began to go to Hindu temples to pray over the temples and rebuke the stronghold of the enemy. We did this to invite the Holy Spirit into the environment and trust that the Lord would move. Through this we began to encounter people who had no hope and were able to present the hope of Christ. This was a daily practice and every day people would deny that the hope of Christ was real.

As we leave from this South Asian country we enter into Nepal the day we arrived in Nepal we began to see a shift in the people around us. Nepal was hungry for the gospel. People would walk up next to us randomly and tell us “for some reason I feelas if I need to talk to you. I don’t know why?“ This would happen almost every day we went out while in Nepal. They were drawn to the Holy Spirit inside of us. For the 34 days in Nepal, I was provided the ability to lead a team of five girls. The ministry work that we had in Nepal brought us all the way to the Tibet borders teaching at a local school and hiking to preach in near by homes. We stayed there for about three weeks teaching and visiting the locals in the surrounding area. The Lord moved in so many ways and he was so faithful.

One amazing testimony I have starts on a day we had for evangelism. Since we were in the middle of nowhere we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We decided to walk to one of the nearest towns, which was about a 30 minute drive. We had no form of transportation so we just started walking. As we were walking we stopped at a little shop on the side of the road and asked the Lord to send us a taxi, which is literally impossible since we are in the middle of nowhere. After buying some extra water and snacks for the walk ahead. As we start getting ready to leave one of our neighbors was driving up and told us to get in the truck for a ride. We had no idea where we were going until we finally reached the town we were trying to get to. On the ride there we stopped at a passport check because we were getting close to the border of another country. We went through with no problem and minimal questions with no passport. Once we reached the town we were able to talk to some hospital workers and pray over the area. We had no idea how we were going to get to this town but the Lord provided a way. This just one of the insane stories that happened while we were in Nepal.

I’ve realized over the entirety of the past seven months, the Lord has been reaffirming my identity. Teaching me one step at a time what it looks like to have full and confident identity in him. Showing me how to release things to him and trust that he will take care of what I need. In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus tells us that his father cares for the birds and he clothes the flowers. He will be sure do the same for us as we seek first his kingdom.

As I am on this journey I would ask that you pray for my well being. Sickness has come to me and this squad many times over our time in other countries. Also prayer for continual wisdom and strength as I continue my time on the field. Lastly pray for fundraising. As we are coming close to the end of this time on the field and I still have a large amount to fundraise. Thank you all so much for being along side me on this journey of missions. Be blessed!!!
