80 days. It has been more than 80 days and my life with God has never looked more amazing! The things I’ve seen, done, and experienced are more than any words I could ever write. But I’m going to try my best.

For the last two months, I have been living in Kenya. I have traveled all across Kenya now, from the furthest east to the farthest west. I have many stories and experiences from my travels. I have also received revelations and visions from God and I’ve seen Him move in areas that seem immovable. So what does all that look like? Let me tell you.

We lived in Kitale, Kenya for 6 weeks and for those weeks we had a wide range of ministry opportunities. I met with widows who are holding onto their faith even after what seems their life was starting to fall apart. We were able to meet with these women regularly to encourage and pray for them. Many of them continuing to receive and accept the full love of God! But we also worked with with orphaned children during our time. Have you ever met a child, literally thrown away by the world, left to die, but having nothing but the love of God be able to bring life back into their lives! These children having nothing, now learning and living with the full love of God. So much so that they become reunited with cherished families and loving homes while so bringing the gospel to their family! Only by the love of God! I have seen it! I have also seen disease flee from the body of ill and infected children. A family that can only live in their own filth and pain, now receiving the love of God to heal their physical pain, but also their spiritual struggle. These all have been a testimony of God’s grace.

I also have traveled miles/kilometers far and wide to preach the gospel to people who are hearing it for the first time and taught what it looks like to accept Christ as your savior. To repent and be baptized. I have seen the same people accept Jesus into their hearts and be baptized. Over 50 people accepting Christ, being baptized,.and learning to live their life with Jesus! Only by the love of God! These I have seen only by God’s grace and mercy! And only these things can happen by God alone! It is all truly beautiful.

The story’s I can tell are many, but the love of God is eternal. I would love to continue to share, but I can’t leave without telling you of the most important ministry God has been working on. This is the ministry of my own heart.

Obviously, through seeing God working on everything He has shown me, it will change your heart, but it’s when I began leaning into God and what He has for me that my heart was the newest ministry. I am learning of the Spirit that lives within me. How do I discern it? How do I trust it? How do I trust myself? Through trials and painful nights of no sleep, I lie awake in wonder and frustration of the things God puts on my heart. In my anger, I give it to God and ask for His peace and love. In my authenticity, I present everything to God and hold on to absolutely nothing, and in that, He holds me.

Through my travels, I have experienced the spiritual warfare raging in my mind. I have learned to embrace and lean into God where He pushes me, and allow Him to shape my heart through the breaking of my past. All the things I have held onto, He has broken them. But I have learned that I can’t just leave it broken, I need to renew my mind. Turn my thoughts and my eyes back and fixed on Christ. I can’t just be healed and say “thanks God”. I have to keep fighting, learning and growing. I must renew my mind all the time. It takes time, and it is definitely not easy. But I am learning that He is still with me and that I will grow stronger, and that it will become easier. He is doing something new in my life. Can I not see it? It’s right here in front of my eyes!

So that has been the ministry of my heart. And it’s one that God will never stop working on. But as for now, I have arrived in Uganda and beginning new ministries. I am sure I will tell more of it all soon, but I just wanted to tell you all about who I am becoming and the newest stories of my life. I am the traveling missionary.

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and flame shall not consume you.” … “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” – Isaiah 43
