Honesty: Not my favorite place to be.
All in all: Needed to make sure my heart is in the right place before embarking on an 11 month journey to share the gospel!
My squad arrived to Gainesville, Georgia’s Adventures in Mission campus on January 14th with 3 other squads going on various trips in the weeks to come. My squad, leaders & coaches have been a blessing since the moment we all met. I’m so so excited to be on the field with them, seriously!! We leave from training camp January 29th, straight to Guatemala.
Day to day:

Personal Time – lay down on the carpet & laugh over nothing with squad mates
Session – teaching on culture, ministry, safety & other topics to help with cross cultural missions
Team Time – debrief the teaching & learn trip specific info
Dinner – So cold.
Cleaning – Different tasks are allocated between the squads at camp to complete as teams
Team bonding & preparation for scenarios that could happen on the field

Thats a run down folks! We have began preparation for our BIG trip through various scenarios as well as country specific appearances, greetings & meals! Eating with our hands is kinda fun!!
Please pray for us to receive rest throughout our busy days with the ability to focus on the importance of preparation & team building through much anticipation to leave!
Much Love,
P
