Training Camp Week 1
Training Camp was amazing and something I have needed for a very long time! It was a spiritual awakening to say the least. I walked into training camp thinking I may learn a couple things but also I’ll chill in the background and chill from being a leader. I felt like it was my turn to be the silent leader in the back of the group. But training camp humbled me! the first day was a very hard day for me, doing a lot of praying and sermons all day it was different than what I am used to.
Tuesday-Friday afternoon, I was wrestling with God about trying to open up in worship and letting everything that was holding me back from fully enjoying my walk with Jesus. Friday night was called Revival Night, and it was 3 hours of worship. That night I was singing, and I felt the Holy Spirit fill me and just help me throw everything to Jesus and so I bent down and through my hands up to Jesus and praised Him! It was one of the best feelings I have had in a long time! After Revival Night, I encountered the Holy Spirit to go and pray for someone and it was an amazing experience. Saturday was Sabbath, so we rested and got new to know each other on my squad better.
