Hello Friends and Family! I hope everyone reading this is doing well! It has been almost a week since we have arrived here in South Africa and started ministry. We had about 3 days of travel before getting here.

In the Atlanta airport, God was so active and my team was able to share the gospel with a man who decided to accept Christ. In addition, God showed me his love in other ways too. There was a man in the airport, while I was eating with some friends, who was digging through the trash for food. I offered to buy him a meal and he was very grateful. When we went to the restaurant to get him a meal the woman there assumed that He was asking me for food and asked him not to do that. When we got to the front of the line, the woman asked him what he wanted and he said he would like an apology for the assumption. I then explained that I offered to buy him the meal and that he was not asking me for money. She wouldn’t apologize and the man was so disheartened by the experience; he thanked me but said he didn’t want me to buy him a meal anymore. I was extremely discouraged because I felt like I was just trying to do something nice and it turned into a negative experience for everyone involved. I was explaining my frustration to my friends and we were just talking and praying for the man when a different man came and left a note on our table. It said “Thank you for helping others! Let’s keep with the favors chain. If you ever visit Cadit or Seville (Spain) You are invited for a meal too in my restaurant (Los Pipiolos/ El Relio). Thank you for being good people and taking care of others. Ander.” (Picture below) He just dropped it off and walked away. I felt so seen and sometimes I think God does little things to make his people see his love and experience him in a different way. It’s just amazing.

After Atlanta, we had a 10 hour flight overnight to Istanbul, Turkey. We spent 9 hours in the Istanbul airport, and then headed to Johannesburg, South Africa, where we spent about 2 hours. Our final flight was to Jefferys Bay, South Africa, where we have been in ministry for about a week now.

We have a beautiful host home where we are staying together. We were able to have an orientation with our hosts in South Africa, who were very helpful in answering questions and helping us understand our ministries and their culture. Thank you to them for everything! They are the best!

Even through traveling, God is so active and present! I am so grateful for that.

Thank you so much for your time in reading through this! Please feel free to Subscribe for the next time I post! 🙂
