Week one in Georgia is complete!

I am thrilled to witness the growth and learning of my team through this experience. Our training camp has been nothing short of amazing, we worshiped, deepened our understanding of God and the Holy Spirit, and received instruction on cross-cultural communication. We learned how to distill the gospel into simpler terms for those unfamiliar with English or the Christian faith, while also honing our skills in showing respect for different cultures. During our cultural immersion day, we ate some fun and diverse cuisines and immersed ourselves in Cambodian traditions. We learned the importance of respecting other cultures and engaged in house visit scenarios, offering a glimpse into the real-world challenges we may encounter. I was also reminded of the importance of letting Jesus’ light shine through us, radiating kindness, humility, grace, sweetness, and generosity to all those we encounter. As children of God, we have been transformed from sinners to saints by committing our lives to the Lord, becoming holy and beloved children of God. We had the opportunity to engage in evangelism at a grocery store, touching people’s hearts through community, attentive listening, and prayer. It was truly a wonderful experience, filled with memorable moments and unexpected relationships. I had prayed for two new friends this year, but I have been blessed with 21. These relationships are everything to me! God’s blessings truly exceed our expectations!

Thank you all for supporting me along this journey and I wouldn’t be here without you!

I just arrived in Cambodia after 3 days of travel! Can’t wait to share more soon😋
