Hey guys!
I’ve been in Thailand for almost two weeks now, and I absolutely love it here. Our host, Benz, is so sweet and funny, and she’s just been so wonderful with helping us. She actually runs the English center that we’re doing ministry at. It’s an after school program where students can come in and get lessons on English, and we’re with them in between classes teaching small things. One thing I love about Thailand is that we’re actually able to share the gospel here, so evangelism is actually something we’re doing.
Our main ministry isn’t quite what we thought it was going to be, but it’s actually set up pretty cool, so we like it. (Though it wouldn’t matter if we didn’t like it, because it’s all for God’s glory no matter if it’s fun or not). We have multiple 45 minute classes throughout the day, and we prepare fun dances, games, and vocab that will allow them to just hang out with us and learn English in fun and interactive ways. Also, because this is a Christian run school, we’ve been giving them Bible verses for vocab and memory. These students aren’t saved, but I know young adults who said that they found Christ through this school, so it’s really cool to be a part of something like that. It gives you hope that was harder to find in Malaysia.
Apart from school, our other ministry opportunities lie in our hands. We have something called ATL which is “As The Lord Leads”. Basically, we walk around in prayer and ask God to lead us to people He wants us to talk to and maybe share the gospel to. Me and Bella were able to talk to this 25 year old girl who helps run a boba stand. We just talked to her and got to know her, building a relationship so that way when we come back she’ll already know us and we can share Jesus with her. Sometimes all we’re doing is sharing the gospel, but it’s mainly building relationships with the people who work in the stands on the streets. Also, we have a women’s event that we’re hosting about worth, and we’ve been passing out flyers and inviting random people in hopes that the Lord will bring people to us who are ready to hear and accept the gospel.
So yea, that’s been our ministry here in Thailand. We also got to help host a Christmas event at a church, and we shared the story of Jesus’s birth with them, as well as core Bible verses. That was also flyer invites, and we got some people who didn’t know God, so that was really cool.
That’s all I really have for updates. Here’s my instagram if you’d like to flow along for fun updates and pictures of what me and my team are doing- gabifish23. Also, I still have a little bit more money to raise to be fully funded, so if you could check out the fundraiser I have going on right now on either my insta or my Facebook and donate, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for reading! Love you guys!

*bonus feature- I’m currently doing a study on the names of God, and I’ve decided to add the ones I’ve learned to my blogs so you guys can learn them too. I just started today, so the only one I have right now is Yahweh Shalom- The Lord of Peace. Come back next week for more!
