WOW! What a week! This was officially our last week on the race as P-Squad. On Monday, we started our travel day, spending many hours in planes and airports, and landed back in the USA on Tuesday.

The rest of the week was our trip debrief. So when we arrived back in Gainesville, Georgia we immediately went to sleep after traveling for that long. Our week of debriefing was full of rest, processing, and soaking up all the time we had left together as a squad. We had one-on-ones with our squad mentors and heard testimonies from the other two squads that were debriefing with us. We also had team and squad times of talking and learning about the best way to re-enter your life. It was such a bittersweet week of looking forward to coming home and then not looking forward to saying goodbye to the people we spent the last 3 months with. The rest of our time together was full of hanging out, some more debriefing sessions, and then we ended in a squad banquet and commissioning prayer and worship. As everything became surreal a lot of tears were shed:(

As I spent this last week thinking about this trip I was blown away by God’s goodness and faithfulness. I was reminded of His constant presence throughout every season of this trip. I learned so much about the character of Jesus while on this trip and I came to see clearly how He views us. I learned about His desire for our lives and a relationship with Him and I grew so much in my faith while walking with Him in the last 3 months. The word I give for this trip is JOY. I heard this word so many times during my time in Africa. I truly felt the joy of the Lord and when I think of my trip that is what I see. If I had to do it over again I would do it in a heartbeat. The hard times and the good times were all worth it to come into a deeper relationship with the One who created us. Words can’t even explain all the many amazing things that God did while I was in South Africa and Eswatini!

To P Squad: Some of my favorite people ever. Not only did I grow spiritually by knowing you but I made so many new friends. I truly wouldn’t have wanted to do this trip with anyone else and I am honored to not only call you my friends but also a family of people who loved so well. Through every change, unknown, and new country you guys kept pursuing the Lord and chasing after what He wanted. I have never been with a more inspiring group of people! I knew saying goodbye was going to be one of the hardest things ever but we will see each other again. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I love all of you so much and thank God for bringing such special people into my life. I am so thankful that I got to experience this with the best people ever!

To my supporters: Thank you for your prayers, and encouragement and for following along on my journey! I am grateful for every person that made it possible for me to go on this life-changing trip. I encountered God in so many ways and He taught me so much. I can’t wait to share with all of you the amazing things that I got to experience!

To my Father and Friend: Thank you Jesus for every moment of the last 3 months. For every hard time, easy time and every second I got to get a glimpse of You. Thank you for my family, supporters, and people that were praying for our team. Lastly, thank you for P-squad and for the people I got to walk through this season of my life with. I feel overwhelmed by Your goodness. Thank you:)

Saying goodbye to these people was way harder than I thought it was going to be. Tears were flowing and we knew we had to go separate ways but that didn’t make it any easier. Not a goodbye but a see you later ❤️ P SQUAD FOREVER !!!!!
