Hi Friends!

I can’t believe that I’ve already been in Italy for a week! It feels just like yesterday that our whole group traveled many miles and hours to arrive in this beautiful country. It’s been such a joy getting to know everyone on my team and we are definitely starting to feel like family. Our little castle on the hill in Fara Sabina has been a great place to watch breathtaking sunsets and do Bible study with a beautiful view of the mountains. There have been many adventure days in Rome with lots of education and pictures. Some of the sights in Rome include: the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Palazzo Montecitorio,  the Spanish Steps, Sant’Agnese in Agone, the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and the prison where Paul wrote the last book of the Bible before his death. We all have also enjoyed trying all the wonderful foods that Italy has to offer from pizza, chocolate wafers that are to die for, croissants, pasta and best of all gelato!! On a more serious note, we have all been starting to feel the Lord breaking down walls, healing our hearts and calling us to step into the best version of ourselves. As the chapter in Rome closes there will be a new story unfolding in Follonica. I would love if you would continue to pray for our team and the people we will meet along the way. Thank you for your support and prayers throughout this journey because it means the world.

Blessings,

Bailey Lawson
