This past week at training camp I’ve been reflecting on how diverse the Christian community really is. It’s kind of amazing to see how many different kinds of people come together in fellowship from all over the world. From various cultures and backgrounds to unique ways of expressing our faith, Christians are far from a one-size-fits-all group.
And honestly, I think that’s something to celebrate. It’s incredible how our tastes in music, hobbies, and worship styles can vary so widely. But despite all these differences, there’s one thing that unites us all, Jesus! And that connection is something truly powerful.
When we talk about Jesus, we’re talking about a love that transcends all our individual differences. No matter where we come from or what our personal journeys look like, if we share Jesus, we share something profound. It’s like this common thread that binds us together.
I’ve really felt this in my own life, especially here at training camp with my squad mates. Even though we have different experiences and viewpoints, the moment we start discussing our faith, it’s like we’re on the same wavelength. We’re all touched by the same grace and trying to live out the love Jesus taught us.
So, even if you sometimes feel out of place or like you don’t fit in, remember that Jesus is the connection we all share. And it’s often through our diversity that we get to see just how deep and wide His love and grace really are.
Just some thoughts I wanted to share. It’s amazing to think that, despite all our differences, Jesus is the one thing that truly brings us all together.
Always remember that if we have Jesus in common we have everything in common.
