I have been in Thailand for one month. The simple grace I have experienced from the Lord is remarkable. How sweet is it to be known and to be led by our father.
When we see Him face to face, He will say well done good and faithful servant, from our simple obedience. Not works, not perfection, but our obedience. The Lord has allowed me to be a vessel to spread his good news at colleges, coffee shops and churches. It is so evident he touches souls.
I have learned that unconditional love depends on the nurture of the Giver, than the condition of the receiver.
“Deep calls to deep
In the roar of your waterfalls;
All your waves and breakers
Have swept over me.”
-Psalm 42:7
I love how the Book of Psalms covers all of human emotions, and it presents every one before God.
The writer in Psalm 42 describes being totally overwhelmed by water. unable to stand, in the deepest depths of seas, soon to drown. I have felt this loss of comfort, overwhelmed, and the need of Gods comfort in Thailand.
Psalm 42:7 reads, Deep calls to deep. the depth of our need meeting the depth of His love. It’s only in weakness and need that these depths of love are unlocked in the deep places of our own hearts.
Faith isn’t always reaching for more, sometimes it involves sitting with what is. He will meet us where we are. Every time He will meet us.
