My friend, Faith, has not written a blog.
Why is that? Let’s brainstorm.
She could be sleeping. Ministry and school days are tiring; maybe her priority now lies with her bed.
Or she could be serving God. She may have made a great connection and is ministering to a street merchant, or a kid at the park, or the person sitting next to her at dinner.
Maybe this trip is too much for her independent spirit. She could’ve gotten frustrated and decided to take a hike by herself.
Maybe she just needed a little time to clear her head.
And maybe on her hike, she met a kitty. And the kitty was hurt and needed help, so naturally she stopped and helped it. The kitten had a little thorn in its paw, and it was very sad.
But Faith to the rescue saved the kitten! And now Bby is happy and in love with Faith.
So, the little kitten wants Faith to meet her family. Faith is now being guided through the woods by Little Kitten and having a grande ol’ time.
Along the way, they pick a wildflower bouquet, fight evil elves, swing from trees, and frolic through the long grass.
Then they come to the kitten’s house, and her family is delighted with Faith. They invite her to dinner.
So she stays and dines with them, feasting on fresh bread, chicken alfredo, Dr. Pepper, and lemon pie.
After her last bite, she notices the time and realizes she must return for team time.
Bidding goodbye, she runs back to our Kompleksi, her fantastical skirts blowing in the wind.
She’s so focused on her mission of getting home she is not paying attention and…
WHAM!
She gets swallowed by a bear. Faith is no more.
That’s why she hasn’t written a blog. It’s because she got eaten by a bear.
Or…
Maybe, she’s just procrastinating.
I suppose we’ll never know.
