Hey Y’all!
Sorry I haven’t reached out sooner, but life has been kind of crazy! I’m officially 23 days into training camp, and tomorrow is our first day of domestic ministry—so exciting! We’re heading to Macon, Mississippi, to work on a reservation and we are going to stay with Mennonites. I can’t wait!
Honestly, I’m thriving here more than I ever have in my life. I’ve completely fallen in love with Gainesville, Georgia. Being surrounded by people who love God and serve others with such passion has been an incredible privilege, and I’m beyond grateful for this community.
Oh, and super exciting news—I got baptized last Thursday!!! I’ve never felt closer to God, and I’m so happy with the decision it truly has brought me so much joy!
Last week, we also did some street evangelism at a Kroger. I had never done anything like that before, so I was definitely nervous. But we ended up buying flowers and handing them out, which opened up opportunities to share the gospel with so many people. It was such a special experience.
To wrap everything up, I’m doing really well here and can truly say that joining The World Race has been the best decision I could have made for my life. I’ve grown and changed in so many positive ways.
As for fundraising, I’m currently at 60% of my goal and continue to pray that God will provide so I can be fully funded soon! (I’ll link my fundraising page below.)
I love you all, and I can’t wait to share more little exciting updates with you soon.
